“Roots” is a mixed media landscape drawing on board series based on
sketches made on location during my hikes.
The drawing is constructed by meticulously layering the shapes and
texture in different values with a pencil, and then by applying several
glazes of oil paint, allowing me to focus on light and my sensory
experience,I reimagine the observed landscapes.
