My prints begin with time spent in nature. Through observations of what’s arround me I explore the theme of light in landscapes.
I do quick thumbnails sketeches to keep only essential shapes.
The marks I’m making in my prints are a direct result of my cutting based on my reference drawings previously transfered on the lino.
My prints are opened to interpretation making the viewer connect with their own environement and story

Afternoon in Chamonix

Chamonix is well know for the Mont Blanc but ioutside of the very touristic season it is a lovely little town with gorgeous walks and forest I have been visiting since my first steps as a baby.

Lost in the woods

A cabin lost in the woods during a snow storm will always give me a feeling of being in the moment, calm and cosy. But then I remember in real life I would have troubles finding sleep! This print is a better alternative!

September 2024, whereas I was meant to take a plane to visit someone very dear to me, a last minute cancelled flight without any notice or explanation decided it wouldn’t happen. This walk had a different taste, wondering after each step why things didn’t go according to plan.
