At this time of year, the sun is a somewhat touchy and temperamental friend. Yet, a few early morning rays are all it takes to make magic, transforming any corner of the garden into an enchanting scene as it harmonizes everything it sweeps with its gentle light.

This little garden nook may not be the most meticulously tended, but the spectacle it offers at dawn has never once disappointed me.
