Last year and after allowing myself to finally give life to some projects sleeping in my mind for too long and thanks to the support of my mentor Sam I had the lovely surprise to be shortlisted for the exhibition “work on paper” by the London based art gallery “the Green and stone”.

My sculpture titled “Contemplation” was made from discarded cupboards and papier mâché. I added nature colour by tinting some area with Iris leaves.

To mark this 1st selection of my paper sculptures series I decided to spend few days in London to visit the preview of the show.
I didn’t expect such crowd and I confess I couldn’t even get pictures of me next to my work.
However it was a great opportunity to make new acquaintance and all the visitors packed inside the gallery had an unexpected consequence: we started to make a little group outside to get some fresh air and that way it was much easier to introduce ourselves to each other.

This experience even ended very well for me. Indeed few days before the closing of the show my sculpture found a new home. Looking very much for this year and hopefully more opportunities to show my sculptures in London.
