Snail mail is back

We have a saying in French “les grands esprits se rencontrent “:  Great minds think alike and this is pretty much what happened recently. While I was updating my website I thought about developing a subscription system but an analog one. 

I still love to send and receive snail mail (small clue about my age and big hug if you are from the same “pre internet” generation)

So my idea was to have a system just like for a newsletter but that you would receive right in your letter box with a small present each time, whether it's a discount code, a crafting activity, a template etc…

And just like that on a bright morning I discovered a video online introducing @stampfans_  a young company with the same concept.

And I felt very happy because at first I was really excited by my idea, I thought it would match perfectly with my personality and it’s only when I realized the time, the cost, the organization, the communication etc it would take to do everything on my own that I wrote down my idea in a notebook thinking I wouldn’t be able to give it life before couple of years.

But suddenly I made this quite miraculous discovery, someone had the same idea  and developed it already! 

They do take a 3$ commission on each subscription covering printing and shipping costs and the rest is for the artist .

My Zine for June

It feels like a mix of patreon, kofi and newsletter. The subscriber supports an artist monthly, in exchange receive a little treat, become part of a community, and get the excitement to receive every month a snail mail (in my case I chose to create a zine.)

The zine for the month of July is currently running but you can still receive it if you subscribe before the end of the month. This time I created a series of vintage inspired ladies  that you will just have to cut and gather with  a  thread to give a little retro inspired mood to your interior and keep you company this summer.
